Manifesto
Build Private
Build because you’re curious.
Build because it’s useful.
Build because customers matter more than followers.
You don’t owe the internet daily progress reports.
Ship publicly. Build privately.
We’re not against #buildinpublic. Plenty of people have done great work that way, and there’s nothing wrong with it. We just think there’s another perfectly valid way to build — the kind where you disappear for eight months and then, one day, post: “Hey, I made this.” No hype cycle. No teaser trailer. No ten-part launch thread. Just the thing.
Somewhere out there is a founder live-tweeting their morning routine. We wish them well. We are, at this exact moment, not doing that.
Less broadcasting. More building.
